Summary of work
Women for Positive Action aims to empower, educate and support women living with HIV through the provision of practical support across a range of challenging issues for women affected and those involved in their care.
In 2010 and 2011, the group focused on the sensitive topics of ageing, faith and beliefs, emotional support and sexual transmission, using different styles and tones to develop feature articles, educational slide kits and a multilingual website.
Women for Positive Action extended the reach of these materials through conference activities and media outreach.
