In 2013, the agency’s London office opened as the first European office to leverage the halo of a successful US based brand. In 2014, we transitioned from high energy start-up within a multinational holding company to an agency competing in its own right. Our 2015 ambition was clear - to create and maintain momentum, recognising this period as crucial for establishing a legacy beyond being a fresh new offer for employees and client partners alike.
We were relentless in not resting on our early success. Diversifying our portfolio, without trying to be everything to everybody, was central to our 2015 strategy, and with that we won 13 new client partners including our very first clients in medical education, devices and medical technology. We celebrated double-digit growth. We won three awards, received a highly commended honour and were finalists for another four accolades.
Our team turnover was low at 13% and our client retention remained at 100%. Underpinning all of our success was keeping alive what made us successful as a starting business, our distinct culture. We proudly continued to put our own people first, knowing our business potential had no limits if we stayed true to this philosophy.
GCI demonstrated a good investment in people, strong growth, diversity and development. They worked on important societal issues and had great results and performance.
