Summary of work

One strategic growth initiative: strengthen our positioning from an established platform, enabling a wider reach based on a common backbone ‘making scientific evidence engaging, digitally accessible and creatively appealing for HCPs and consumers’.
With COVID-19 came challenges, which were quickly embraced. Colleagues adapted to ‘new ways of working’, and client rapport and communications were excellently maintained.
2020/21 ended up as our best year yet. Turnover increased by 57% and 48% respectively in the last two years, we won more than our fair share of new pitches, and worked closely with our existing clients to grow business, leading to the awarding of new long-term contracts.
PMLiVE named Purple Health the #1 Independent Healthcare Agency, and we were ranked 15th in the overall ‘T40’ list. We also took the ‘Best Healthcare Agency’ titles at the 2020 and 2021 GHP Awards.
In the upcoming PM Society Digital Awards, we are finalists in four categories, including a new ‘Markify HCP Behavioural Science’ award. We are also up for the ‘Digital Team of the Year’ for our work with Novartis.
Finally, we won the ‘Advertising Campaign Award’ at the VMAs for our XLVets campaign, ‘She’s the Boss’.
An exceptional year in exceptional circumstances.

The Purple Agency has a deserved strong reputation in the healthcare industry. The judges liked their solid creative agency foundation, along with their honesty and openness to share the challenges and their approach to people and CSR.
