Boehringer adds to local UK social media accounts

New YouTube channel joins accounts on Flickr and Twitter

Boehringer Ingelheim has expanded its local social media initiatives in the UK with the launch of a new YouTube channel.

The Boehringer UK channel went live this week, just as the German pharmaceutical company celebrated its UK affiliate's 50th birthday.

To mark this anniversary the company has a video showing employee perspectives of working for the firm.

The YouTube channel joins Boehringer UK's existing social media accounts, which encompass a UK corporate Twitter feed, an atrial fibrillation Twitter account and a Flickr account.

• Details of these accounts, and many more across the industry, can be found in the Digital Handbook's Pharma social media directory
