Networks in Health’s expansion brings new international engagement opportunities to pharma

Networks in Health – a unique international alliance of online physician networks, which was set up by Doctors.net.uk in May 2011 – has expanded its geographical reach by partnering with three communities in Belgium, Russia and Turkey.

The three communities – Mediquality in Belgium, iVrach in Russia and Doktorsitesi in Turkey – will add 114,000 new physicians to Networks in Health's existing membership, which comprises approximately 1.2 million physicians worldwide. 

The three European entities will join other Networks in Health communities in Europe, Latin America and Australia, as well as the US and also Asia, where Networks in Health's parent company, M3, is the dominant physician community in Japan and where it also has close links to South Korea through MediGate. 

The exciting new development strengthens Networks in Health's proposition for pharma companies that want to be able to run multi-territory promotional or combined educational programmes that enable them to establish localised engagement through physicians' most trusted online networks via a single, coordinated point of access. 

Our clear insights into the way physicians' thinking and behaviour varies according to their nationality, as well as other criteria such as their age and speciality, help us to ensure that our clients' messages are timely and well targeted, as well as being in line with the local language, culture and regulations. These insights also help pharma companies to achieve consistency of message across multiple territories as well as cost-effective deployment of resources and re-use of content across multiple geographies according to launch timelines and/or pre-launch activities.
