Is HTML5 the nail in the coffin of Flash?
Its lack of compatibility with Apple devices has seriously handicapped Flash when it comes to the mobile web
With the advent of HTML5, the limitations of Flash may mean it has had its day.
And since Flash won't work on any Apple devices, a large section of the mobile web users are immediately excluded, which is a major drawback for anyone considering Flash content for their website.
It may be early days for HTML5, but it's hard to see how Flash will be able to compete in the long run.
