Individual who buys and uses a product or service. A consumers plays a key role in the economic structure of a nation. Without consumerism the economy virtually collapses. A consumer is recognised by business as someone who decides whether or not to purchase an item and someone who can also be influenced in that decision by marketing and advertisements.
