90TEN bolsters medical education team

Agency appoints Melanie Sobczyk and Mark Lakeram

Mark and MelHealthcare communications consultancy 90TEN has appointed Melanie Sobczyk and Mark Lakeram to its medical education team following a year of growth.

Sobczyk joins the agency as an associate director from Chameleon, where she was the group account director. Her new role will see her take responsibility for the medical education client services team.

Lakeram also joins the agency as its editorial director, a newly created role which will see him lead and shape the team responsible for delivering editorial excellence across the consultancy. He is a former pharmacist and has held an associate editorial director role at Medical Knowledge Group, the medical division of Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

Alison Doughty, managing director of medical education at 90TEN, said: “Out clients come to us for our scientific expertise and strategic acumen, and both Mark and Melanie have these in spades.

“I’m delighted to be working with such a strong and talented senior team during this very exciting time for us here at 90TEN.
