Almac Group appoints two marketing directors

Matt Cocking and Laura Montgomery join the contract development and manufacturing company

edit-Laura-Montgomery-Sept-14-1Contract development and manufacturing organisation Almac Group has created two key marketing director positions to expand its global marketing team.

Matt Cocking will join the Irish company as market development director for the firm's clinical technologies business unit and will be responsible for developing the marketing plan.

He has over ten years of experience as a senior marketing leader and was previously director of marketing at Philadelphia-based clinical trial software solutions company Y Prime.

Meanwhie, Laura Montgomery will work as senior market insight director and will be responsible for developing, delivering and communicating market research to assist the company in making data-driven decisions.

She joins the team from Adelphi Research, a healthcare market research consultancy, where she held the position of project director for the last three years.

Doug Cookson, Almac's VP of corporate marketing, said: “I am delighted to welcome Matt and Laura to Almac and believe they will be a great addition to the existing Almac marketing team.”
