Astellas promotes Anthony Fiordaliso to VP, Americas finance

Astellas has promoted Anthony Fiodaliso to VP, Americas finance to oversee areas such as managerial reporting and budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and revenue forecasting.

He has been with the pharma company since 2010, when he joined from Schering-Plough (now part of Merck & Co) and subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility.

Fiordaliso was most recently Astellas’ executive director of commercial finance and prior to his time with Schering-Plough he served as senior internal auditor at Warner-Lambert (now part of Pfizer).

In his new role Fiordaliso will report to Stephen Knowles, senior vice president, finance and information technology at Astellas.

Knowles said: "Tony's depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in finance related to the pharmaceutical industry position him well for his new role."
