AstraZeneca (AZ) has promoted Rodrigo Gribble to serve as business unit director of acute hospital care in Spain.
In this role Gribble will be responsible for the company's marketing of Brilique (ticagrelor) for acute coronary syndrome, including management, development and market access activities, and he will also be tasked with developing the sales team.
Gribble has been with AstraZeneca in Spain since 2010, joining as regional sales manager and then as brand manager for Brilique.
His previous experience includes marketing and brand roles at Microsoft and Procter & Gamble.
Gribble said: "It is an honour to be part of this team and I take forward to the challenge of ensuring, more so, the value of a product that is able to save the lives of thousands of people with acute coronary syndrome in our country."
