Science, healthcare and engineering content marketing company AZoNetwork has strengthened its team, appointed Ceri James as chief operating officer.
Based at AZoNetwork’s headquarters in Manchester, James brings with him over 25 years’ industry experience working in medical and scientific communications for companies such as AstraZeneca, where he held various sales, business management and marketing roles.
Dr Ian Birkby, chief executive officer, AZoNetwork, said: “Ceri’s knowledge, expertise and experience will be critical and represents another exciting chapter in the AZoNetwork story.
“He will be heavily involved in the commercial development of Newsmedical.net as well as the evolution and increasing headcount of the sales and marketing teams.”
James also brings considerable agency expertise to the firm, including from McCann Health, where he held roles in brand consultancy and innovation, as well as organisational capability.
