Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) has tapped the audio entertainment industry for its latest board director appointment Dinesh Paliwal.
Paliwal is the chair, president and CEO of Harman International Industries, a provider of audio and infotainment systems for the automotive, consumer and professional markets, and provides BMS with business experience in Asia, the US and Europe.
He has served as president and CEO of Harman since 2007, joining the company from ABB Group, a leading technology company working on automated services.
“We are very excited to have Dinesh join our board,” said Lamberto Andreotti, CEO, Bristol-Myers Squibb.
“I am confident his insights gained from more than 30 years of broad international experience will be of great value to our company.”
This includes three years in China serving as economic advisor to the governor of Guangdong Province.
