Bruce Stouffer moves from BMS to PPD

He joins the contract research organsiation as immunochemistry lead

PPD Bruce StoufferPharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) has appointed Bruce Stouffer as executive director of immunochemistry in the PPD Laboratories' bioanalytical lab.

Stouffer brings over 30 years of biomedical experience to the US firm, most recently serving at Bristol-Myers Squibb as director of analytical and bioanalytical development.

In this role he was responsible for the division's contract operations, quality control, and small and large molecule bioanalytical project management.

Dr David Johnston, executive vice president of global laboratory services at PPD, said: “Bruce brings extensive experience and strong leadership skills to our talented immunochemistry team.

“As a recognised industry leader, Bruce is an exceptional asset for our clients' research programmes.”
