Celgene has appointed Rob Moore to head its inflammation and immunology business in the UK and Ireland.
Moore joins from AbbVie (formerly Abbott) where he was rhemautology senior business unit manager for the UK.
During his time at Abbott/AbbVie Moore worked across Western Europe and Canada, including two years in Paris as immunology commercial director, dermatology.
He also set up and led the UK sales team in gastroenterology before moving on to create the business unit for dermatology in 2009, wherein he led the launch of the huge-selling anti-inflammatory drug Humira (adalimumab).
