ClinTec appoints regional manager for Spain and Portugal

Contract research organisation ClinTec International has appointed Carlos Palacios to the newly-created position of regional manager for Spain and Portugal.

The appointment comes as the UK-headquartered clinical service provider expands its Spanish business, moving to a larger office in Barcelona and opening a new location in Madrid.

Palacios joins ClinTec from Merck, where he served as its clinical account manager and site relationship and operations lead, overseeing global trials across Spain, Portugal, Israel and the Netherlands.

He brings over 16 years of experience in the clinical research industry at local and global levels to the organisation, having previously held management roles at Chiltern International, drug Solutions and Merck & Co.
