Contract research organisation CROS NT has appointed Dr Renee Covell to head its US operations.
Covell has 16 years of experience in the industry, including roles at LabCorp, Covance, Synteract and AAC Business Consulting, which she owns. She is also professor of business at Penn State University, US.
She said: “I am thrilled by the opportunity to bring the high levels of quality and customer service, synonymous with CROS NT, to a wider US audience. I share the values that underpin CROS NT, which made the decision to come on board very easy.”
In her new role, Covell will take responsibility for all of the company's activities in the USA and work with the senior management teams to advance and execute the global strategy.
Andrew MacGarvey, CEO at CROS NT, added: “I am delighted to welcome Dr Covell to the team. Her combination of industry expertise and leadership skills is perfectly suited to this important role. I know that she will contribute across all areas of our business and will be a valuable member of the team.”
Covell's appointment follows CROS NT's successful acquisition of Stat-Tech Services last year and a subsequent growth in its customer base.
