EFPIA appoints new director general

Nathalie Moll takes up the role from April

EFPIA Nathalie MollThe European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) has named Nathalie Moll as its new director general, set to take over from interim director general Eric Cornut in April.

Based in Brussels, Belgium, Moll has been secretary general of EuropaBio, the European Association for Bioindustries, since 2010.

She first joined the trade body in 1999 as manager for external and government affairs, and re-joined in 2005 as director for healthcare and strategic policy. She was subsequently promoted to executive director for green biotechnology, Europe in 2006 before taking on her current role.

Joe Jiminez, president of EFPIA, said: “Nathalie has an excellent track record of leadership and engagement across the life science sector.

“We are confident she is the right person to lead EFPIA, working with stakeholders to address the challenges faced by healthcare systems in Europe.”
