UK-headquartered digital healthcare solutions firm Exco InTouch has appointed Steve Powell to the newly-created role of chief operating officer and president.
Powell will oversee all aspects of Exco InTouch’s operational delivery, including services and technology, from the company’s North Carolina office with a view to expand its US customer base.
He brings 25 years of healthcare technology experience to Exco InTouch, with a focus on operational and technology growth in clinical research organisations and biotechs, as well as management of patient data capture and analysis.
Tim Davis, founder and chief executive officer of Exco InTouch, said: “The recent growth in the electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments market, combined with the continued growth we have experience here at Exco InTouch in both clinical and commercial markets, has led to the creation of this new position.

“His skill set and track record of growing small through to large companies makes him the ideal person to head up this team.”
