GLOBALHealthPR appoints Asia-Pacific lead
James Yi becomes an executive director at the health comms network
Healthcare communications network GLOBALHealthPR has appointed James Yi to lead its operations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Yi brings over two decades of health and life science communications experience to his new role, in which he will oversee the network's new APAC hub in Singapore.
He joins GLOBALHealthPR from Burson-Marsteller South Korea, where he served as market leader and chief executive officer.
Prior to this, Yi was managing director of Ogilvy Public Relations Vietnam, launched and led Singapore-based MAX Public Relations, and served as vice president and group manager of Fleishman-Hillard Singapore.
He also brings client-side expertise to the post, having worked in sales and marketing at GlaxoSmithKline and as global e-marketing manager at Aventis.
