Golin appoints healthcare director

Golin has appointed Shani Shaker as director of its London healthcare practice.

Shaker joins the public relations and digital-focused agency from Salt Communications, where she was an associate director for the Unilever brands portfolio.

Prior to this, Shaker served as a senior consultant for several communications agencies, including Kaizo, Fleishman-Hillard, Clarion Communications, Fox Communications, Grayling and Talk PR.

She also brings experience as an associate director from Porter Novelli and Edelman, where she led a number of consumer health and beauty campaigns.

As healthcare director at Golin, Shaker will be responsible for the growing its consumer health portfolio and the overall expansion of the team.
