Hanover Health has boosted its PR leadership team with the appointments of Alexander Davies, Emma Gorton and Sarah Ghabina.

All three join the agency’s London, UK office, with Davies appointed as associate director, Gorton as senior account director and Ghabina as an account director.

Davies moves to Hanover Health from Tonic Life Communications where he was a senior account director specialising in oncology and neurology product communications, having first joined as an account director in 2014.

Prior to this, Davies held senior corporate communications roles at both AstraZeneca and the BBC, and led the campaigns and digital engagement team at the Royal College of Nursing.

Meanwhile, Gorton most recently served as an account director at Ogilvy Healthworld, having held a number of increasingly senior roles at the agency since starting as a junior account executive in 2011.

She brings experience in pre- and post-launch global product communications and behaviour change initiatives across a range of therapeutic areas, as well as disease awareness campaigns and content generation.

Finally, Ghabina previously served as media relations manager at the NHS Confederation and also brings experience as the senior press officer for the Royal College of Surgeons.

She also brings healthcare communications expertise from Ketchum, where she held a number of client services roles, including account manager.

Frances Beves, director of healthcare communications, said: “With such a diverse and talented leadership team, we can deliver stand-out work for our clients and continue our growth trajectory.

“We continue to look for people with an entrepreneurial spirit who understand the complexities of today’s healthcare environment and are committed to delivering thoughtful, creative, high-quality work.”
