Healthcare communications veteran David Bashaw has joined New York-based PR agency HealthStar PR as executive VP.
Bashaw joins the firm – a division of HealthStar Communications – from Bashaw Consulting where he was principal.
In his new role he will be responsible for managing the agency and its relationship with clients. He will work with the president and co-founder of HealthStar PR Erinn White.
Bashaw has nearly 20 years’ experience in healthcare communications working for such agencies as MSLGROUP, Ogilvy Public Relations and Edelman.
During this time he has led campaigns for major companies, including Eli Lilly, Novartis and Myriad Genetics.
