Ipsen bolsters leadership team

Ivana Magovcevic-Liebisch and Régis Mulot join the biopharma

IvanaFrench biopharmaceutical group Ipsen has strengthened the company with two new appointments.

Ivana Magovcevic-Liebisch (pictured right) joins the pharmaceutical company as its executive vice president and chief business officer.

With over 20 years of senior management service experience in biopharma, Magovcevic-Liebisch joins Ipsen from Axcella Health, where she served as executive vice president, chief strategy and corporate development officer.

Prior to this, she has served as senior vice president, head of global business development at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she led and executed multiple business development transactions ranging from licensing to acquisition of drug candidates, commercial products and companies for the global speciality drug business.

With expertise in corporate partnering, mergers and acquisitions, pipeline and product portfolio development, legal and IP strategy, Magovcevic-Liebisch has worked in several management roles including executive vice president and chief operating officer for Dyax Corp.

RegisAlso joining Ipsen is Régis Mulot (pictured left), who becomes the company’s executive vice president, chief human resources officer after serving as executive vice preside,t chief human resources officer for Staples, the speciality retail and e-commerce company.

There he led a global HR team of over 600 people, cultivating talent development and strategic planning.

Prior to his time at Staples, Mulot has held HR leadership positions with Levi Strauss & Co and technology start-up Broadnet Europe.
