London-based healthcare communications agency JMC Partners has named Alexa Knight as its new director of policy and projects.
She brings more than 15 years’ of healthcare policy and communications experience to the agency’s senior team.
“Our portfolio of clients is growing rapidly, reflecting our particular understanding of the major changes happening in the NHS,” said John Murray, senior partner, JMC Partners.
“Alexa has just the skills we require to support us in this exciting phase of JMC’s development”.
Knight, who will be working alongside director of strategy and development Alice Briceño, was most recently associate director at Hanover.
Prior to that she led the in-house government and external affairs functions at the Royal College of Nursing and the Healthcare Commission.
Commenting on her appointment, Knight said: “I’m delighted to be joining JMC at such an interesting time for health policy, as changes in the NHS come to fruition.
“There is a wealth of expertise in the team here and I look forward to working with clients to achieve their policy goals.”
