Kantar Health appoints IMS Health's Gary Gatyas to lead communications role

Kantar Health has appointed IMS Health's Gary Gatyas as senior VP, global marketing and communications.

Gatyas will lead marketing, marketing communications, media relations and interactive communications strategies across the healthcare consultancy's global business units.

“We are thrilled for Gary to join our team, where his deep industry experience in marketing, communications and media relations will be instrumental to further position Kantar Health as thought leaders in driving our clients' growth strategies,” said  Kantar Health global CEO Lynnette Cooke.

During his times at fellow consultants IMS, Gatyas served as directed global media relations and played a key role in launching the IMS Institute for Healthcare Informatics.

Previously, he was an associate director with accounting services firm KPMG following a spell leading client account teams at Gibbs & Soell Public Relations.
