UK-based Alliance Pharmaceuticals has appointed Karim Husny as its new head of international business.
Husny will be responsible for supporting all of the pharmaceutical company’s brands, including its recently acquired MacuShield eyecare supplement.
He brings experience in over the counter and consumer healthcare having worked at several European pharmaceutical firms, including Laboratoire de la Mer, Pfizer and Sanofi’s Zentiva business.
Most recently, Husny served as director of central and Eastern Europe and export worldwide at Omega Pharma.
In his new role at Alliance Pharmaceutical Husny will be based at the firm’s Paris office.
