Lucid Group announces new hires at its creative and digital agency Bluedog

Follows group's success at Communiqué 2019

Bluedog

Lucid Group has announced significant new hires at its design agency Bluedog, which it acquired in February this year.

Bluedog is a digital and creative agency which specialises in traditional print design background, animation, digital design and video production.

Prior to being acquired by Lucid, the company had been producing material for clients for over 23 years. The company has worked with Takeda, Eisai and Merck Sharp & Dohme among other clients.

The move was Lucid Group’s first major acquisition, and came as the group celebrated its 12-year anniversary.

Rachel Sparks joins Bluedog as a motion designer, having previously worked in the animation industry for four years. Prior to joining Bluedog, Sparks specialised in character 2D animation and motion graphics.

Also joining Bluedog is Kirstin McKechnie as senior designer. McKechnie has eight years’ experience in design and six years’ experience in healthcare design.

Emma Barranger has also been appointed as a graphic designer at the company. She has four years’ design experience and joins Bluedog from 90TEN, where she worked on in-house design projects and global and European client work.

Finally, Victoria William joins Bluedog as a senior account executive. William has two years’ experience working at an independent creative healthcare agency, and also has a MSc in cancer cell biology.

Lucid Group had a successful run at the Communiqué awards this year, bringing home the Excellence in Professional Education Programmes award for its company Vivid’s work for Sanofi Genzyme and The Porterhouse Medical Group Award for Medical Consultancy of the Year.
