M3 appoints Paul Rice as chief operating officer

M3 has appointed Paul Rice as chief operating officer for its European operations, a role that will see him focus on further developing M3’s services.

Rice joins the online doctor communities group from UK-based clinical trials logistics firm Marken, where he served as its EMEA general manager for nearly three years.

Prior to that Rice, who has over 25 years of industry experience, spent time as European commercial affairs director for Walgreens Boots and at Merck & Co as its EMEA executive director of distribution operations, commercial and supply chain.

Dr Tim Ringrose, CEO of M3 EU, said: “M3’s capabilities are becoming firmly established in key European markets and I’m delighted to welcome Paul to M3 as we continue to drive M3’s growth in key markets and expand the services we provide to healthcare.”

The company has also appointed Simon Walker as a business director working across its portfolio of promotional and medical education solutions on a global basis.

Walker has over 20 years experience with the BMJ (British Medical Journal) and has also worked with organisations such as Kanga Healthcare and RCNi.
