Pharma logistics firm Marken has boosted its efforts in China with the appointment of Joan Yan as general manager.
Yan joins from CEVA Logistics, and will hold responsibility for Marken's operations in the country to provide clinical supply chain solutions to pharma companies. She will also be responsible for the company's new depot facility in China.
Prior to joining CEVA Logistics in 2010, Yan served as an operation manager at DB Schenker and operation manager at BAX Global. All these positions were also based in China.
“Joan brings a very important balance of logistics, healthcare and technical expertise to Marken and will be an important part of our growth strategy in China,” said the Marken's CEO Wes Wheeler.
“She will also be instrumental in blending our new depot facility, which is adjacent to our logistics operations, into our China business model which will offer a wide range of services to our pharmaceutical clients."
