Medmeme bolsters its sales team

Franco Barbalinardo joins as senior vice president, sales and business

Franco Barbalinardo Medical affairs solutions group Medmeme has appointed Franco Barbalinardo as its senior vice president for sales and business, following more than 20 years’ healthcare experience.

Barbalinardo’s background includes roles on both the manufacturer and vendor side and his expertise spans across the commercial, analytics, medical affiars, R&D and life science functions.

He joins the group from Carson Analytics, where he was senior vice president of sales and marketing, responsible for re-branding an re-launching the company.

Mahesh Naithani, founder of Medmeme, said: “Franco is ideally placed to drive sales for Medmeme’s unique offering which can yield transformative and market-differentiating benefits for pharma and other healthcare organisations.”

Barbalinardo has also held roles for Aileron Solutions – which was acquired by IMS Health in 2014 -, Within3, and Pfizer.

Naithani added: “We are very pleased to welcome Franco to our team and we look forward to working with him.”
