Independent life science medical research charity MRC Technology has named Andrew Mercieca as its finance director.
Mercieca joined the company as interim finance director in August 2014, bringing with him a wealth of senior international finance experience at technology and pharma companies.
Commenting on his appointment, Mercieca said: “MRC Technology has an impressive track record of connecting promising research with industry to ensure it fulfils its potential and making treatments available to patients, and I am very pleased to be supporting these efforts.”
Mercieca has held numerous roles at firms including Syniverse Technologies, Astellas and Merck Serono, most recently acting as a finance trustee as charity Plan Zheroes.
