UK-based Napp Pharmaceuticals has appointed Alberto Martinez as the company’s new managing director.
Martinez was most recently general manager of Mundipharma’s operations in Spain where his successes included securing first place in Spain’s ‘Great Place to Work’ survey for consecutive two years.
As Napp’s new managing director he takes over from Dietmar Leitner who has been in the position since early 2012.
Martinez’s previous experience includes time as marketing manager at Mundipharma’s international operations and several years with Janssen.
He now moves to the growing life sciences hub of Cambridge in the UK where Napp is based.
“Napp has accomplished much over the years and clearly continues to succeed and grow as the healthcare landscape changes,” said Martinez. “I am committed to ensuring that Napp remains ambitious and agile so that we move from strength to strength in the years to come.”
