New chief information officer at Bayer Healthcare

Promotion for Johannes Schubmehl

Johannes Schubmehl, BayerBayer has appointed Johannes Schubmehl as chief information officer for its Bayer HealthCare division.

He succeeds Matthias Moritz, who left Bayer in March 2013 to join Almirall.

The move is a step up for Schubmehl (pictured right), who was previously responsible for the Human Resources Services unit at Bayer Business Services.

Prior to this, he was chief information officer for Bayer CropScience from 2006 to 2010.

Schubmehl has been with Bayer since 1999, joining as a manager in life science projects before serving as project leader and head of process and application services at Bayer CropScience.
