New VP for Merz North America

Gregory Bass to lead market access and reimbursement strategy

Healthcare company Merz Pharma has appointed Gregory Bass vice president, managed markets .

Bass will be responsible for developing Merz's North American market access and reimbursement strategy to enhance patient access to Merz prescription products.

Joining Merz's North America leadership team and reporting directly to Bill Humphries, president and CEO of Merz North America, Bass will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the company's North American headquarters.

An industry veteran, Bass has spent 17 years in the pharma and biopharmaceutical sectors, and joins Merz from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, where he was senior director, managed markets.

"Greg brings broad experience in the industry across multiple specialities, including oncology, immunology, dermatology and neurology," said Bill Humphries.

“His success in previous sales, marketing and managed market roles, along with his reputation for driving team performance and strategic results makes him an ideal fit for a growing and customer-focused company like Merz."
