Milan-based pharmaceutical company Recordati has promoted Andrea Recordati (pictured right) to chief operating officer.
The move is part of a management reshuffle for the family-controlled firm as it aims to better meet the challenges in both its traditional European markets and the new markets at which its expansion is targeted.
In his newly-created position, Andrea Recordati will be responsible for all the group’s commercial and production activities.
Reporting to Recordati will be two new starters at his company – the new general manager for Italy, Enrico Baroncia, and its regional director for Western Europe Bernard Millet, both of whom start with the company today.
Also reporting to Andrea Recordati will be regional director for Central-Eastern Europe Witold Urban, regional director for South-Eastern Europe and North Africa Arnaldo Restelli, orphan drugs director Corrado Castellucci, international licensees sales director Antoine Grouès and manufacturing and logistics director Antonio Magni.
Recordati himself will report to Giovanni Recordati, as will the company’s vice chairman Alberto Recordati, managing director and chief financial officer Fritz Squindo, corporate development director Walter Bevilacqua, corporate legal affairs director Daria Ghidoni, and corporate auditing director Giovanni Minora.
