Sanofi biologics supply VP joins Kite Pharma
Dr Jian Irish becomes senior vice president of supply chain
California-based Kite Pharma has appointed Dr Jian Irish as senior vice president of supply chain.
Dr Irish joins the immunotherapy-focused firm from Sanofi, where she most recently served as vice president of biologics strategic supply. Prior to this, Dr Irish was vice president of biologics product development technology transfer at the French pharma company.
She also brings pharmaceutical supply chain management experience from Amgen, where she served as executive director and general manager of Japan Asia Pacific supply chain, as well as executive director and global head of contract manufacturing.
Tim Moore, executive vice president of technical operations at Kite Pharma, said: “Jian brings a wealth of supply chain and product development experience to Kite, as well as extensive international business acumen.
"Her willingness to embrace new opportunities to innovate, coupled with her ability to partner and cultivate talent, makes Jian a great addition to the Technical Operations senior leadership team.”
