FleishmanHillard has appointed Jerry Tolk to its Atlanta office as senior vice president, partner and general manager.
Tolk joins FleishmanHillard from Edelman, where he led the Atlanta operation, heading up a growing eight-state healthcare practice. He replaces Karen Kaplan, who has retired after 15 years with FleishmanHillard.

“He has proven management and talent recruitment experience, high-level client relationships, and a business vision that will bring greater opportunities for us in Atlanta.”
Tolk joined Edelman in 2007, initially with its Zeno Group subsidiary, moving to the Atlanta office in 2008. With a degree in biology from the US Army College of Medicine, he has also carried out strategic consulting and communications for M&A clients.
