Global clinical contract research organisation TFS has appointed Andy Waiton as its director of marketing and communications.
He has 28 years experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and their related service sectors, holding a range of sales, management and marketing roles.
Prior to joining TFS, Waiton served at training consultant group Excel Communications as its head of sales and marketing and subsequently as its marketing director.
Waiton has held several roles at QuintilesIMS, serving there as regional business manager, national sales manager and hospital sales manager.
He has also previously worked for Boehringer Ingelheim as a senior product manager and business information executive, and GlaxoSmithKline as a medical representative.
