Therachon has appointed Christian Meyer as its new chief medical officer, a role that will see him succeed Maarten Kraan, who will remain as an advisor to the company.
Meyer joins the biotech from uniQure B.V where he was chief medical officer and has held several similar roles for Cardoz, Symphogen, Zymenex and Novo Nordisk.
Luca Santarelli, chief executive officer and director, Therachon, said: Christian has spent over fifteen years in the biotechnology sector, leading high performing global teams in clinical development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory and medical affairs from early stage development through to commercialisation.
“His entrepreneurial drive and successful track record in executing drug development and regulatory strategies in rare diseases will be an asset to Therachon as we continue to grow as a company.”
