Virgo boosts consumer team

Matthew Coy and Reena Patel join Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing

Virgo Health has made two appointments to its newly rebranded consumer division Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing.

Consumer health expert Matthew Coy (pictured top right) joins as senior account director. Formerly at Tonic Life, Coy has over a decade's experience, leading campaigns for Nurofen, Durex and the Seven Seas range of vitamins.

Reena Patel (pictured bottom right) joins as senior account manager, working on sk:n clinics, Scholl, Veet, E45, Clearasil and Optrex. A beauty specialist, Patel previously worked as a lifestyle journalist and more recently as a freelance PR.

VIRGO Reena PatelCoy and Patel's arrival coincides with the now 13-strong team being renamed Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing in a bid to reflect the broader proposition and range of brands Virgo's consumer division is now supporting

“Matt and Reena make excellent additions to our growing team, now with specialists across three main areas – healthcare (OTC), beauty & personal care and wellbeing & lifestyle,” said Virgo Consumer Health & Wellbeing associate director Natasha Weeks.

“They will both be driving a number of exciting campaigns and will be instrumental as we continue to broaden our client portfolio in 2014.”
