WCG adds three new members to its London team

Expansion to support growing UK, EU and global business

The London arm of US communications consultancy WCG has expanded, hiring three new members to its team.

Malena Johannes joins as account manager, Kate Varnum as senior account manager and Martina Spranger as account manager.

  • Prior to joining WCG, Johannes spent three years on a corporate bachelor programme in international business administration with Bayer Healthcare in Germany and the US
  • Varnum has gained healthcare communications experience with integrated US and European teams, specialising in global product and corporate communications. She was most recently an account manager for Ogilvy Healthworld
  • Spranger joins the firm from Burson Marsteller in Zurich. She has a PhD in molecular biology and speaks German and French.

WCG,-Kate-Varnum The agency recently expanded its foundational biopharmaceutical and healthcare business, adding a string of new services, including medical education, market access, as well as advocacy and policy in disease areas such as rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease and animal health.
