Aurora partners with PIPHealth and taps into patient panels

Becomes the first strategic communications agency with its own patient panel

AuroraIn a bid to strengthen its campaigns, strategic communications agency Aurora has partnered up with 10-year-old social organisation Patient Intelligence Panel (PIPHealth).

The collaboration marks a first for the healthcare comms sector, as Aurora will be the first strategic communications group with access to its own patient panel.

Aurora has been working with PIPHealth on campaigns for four years, and access to its own patient panel will allow the agency to validate future campaign strategies.

Commenting on the new relationship, Neil Crump, co-founder or Aurora, said: “Aurora’s original vision – to help patients access medical innovations is made even stronger with this collaboration.

“By combining our skills with the PIPHealth team, we can live up to our desire to create smart strategy based on deeper insights and evidence our promise to make a difference.”

More specifically, Aurora hopes the new partnership will provide a more “comprehensive patient engagement service” that will include segmentation, patient recruitment, identification of person-centred outcomes, quantitative and qualitative patient research and co-creation.

Nadine van Dongen, founder of PIPHealth, said: “I’m thrilled to be formalising our working relationship, as with Aurora I believe we can reach more patients and make a bigger difference to health through successful patient co-created campaigns.”

Aurora will be the only marketing communications agency working with PIPHealth for the next 12 months.

Dongen added: “At PIPHealth, we still run projects directly for pharmaceutical companies as there is a lot of patient work to be done, but I decided to work exclusively with one health communication agency close to my heart.”
