Ferring Alex Chang

Ferring has named Novartis' head of Asia Alex Chang as the company's senior VP for the Asia Pacific region.

Chang had served as head of the Asia cluster at Novartis since 2011, having held senior management roles at Janssen in China and Taiwan and at Bristol-Myers Squibb in China and the US.

In his new role, Chang will lead the efforts of Switzerland-based Ferring to grow its business in key markets, including China, Japan, South Korea and India. He will report to chief operating officer Michael Pettigrew.

“We are happy to welcome Alex to the Ferring team. We are confident that his deep industry knowledge and broad regional experience will contribute to Ferring growth in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Pettigrew.
