Fishawack opens San Francisco office

Comms agency's new premises will serve its growing west coast client base

Fishawack San Francisco Office

The Fishawack Group has opened a new US office in San Francisco under its flagship Fishawack Communications brand.

First to move into the new premises will be Fishawack Communications' senior director of editorial services Tim Collinson, whose med comms experience includes four years in North America and senior positions at Fishawack within its UK and Swiss operations.

John Czekanski, president of US operations for Fishawack, said: “Tim is the ideal person to establish the San Francisco office, ensuring we support our clients effectively and optimise connections with the rest of the Group. Tim will now be a member of our US leadership team.”

The independent medical and scientific comms agency will use the office, Spear Tower, to support their increasing number of clients based on the US west coast.

Oliver Dennis, CEO of Fishawack, said: “Following the expansions of our east coast US team earlier this year when JK Associates joined the Group, the next logical step was to invest in an office on the west coast to support our clients located there.”

The opening of the new office is a further step towards the Group's strategy to provide access to global scientific, medical communications and pharmacovigilance support services in key locations within the pharma and biopharma industries.

The Spear Tower will provide west coast clients with local access to Fishawack's US team of 50 staff and to the organisation as a whole. The new office is another step in Fishawack's steady growth and follows its acquisition of Brighton-based Facilitate earlier in the year.
