Good Relations Brand Communications has won its first account with infirst Healthcare, following a five-way competitive pitch.
The account, led by associate director, consumer health Kelly Blaney, will focus on the UK launch of two new over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Six people will work on it and the work is expected to be complete – and the new medicines ready to be launched – within the next 12 months, Blaney told PMLiVE.
The fully integrated go-to-market plans developed by the team include planning and creative development, web analysis and strategy development, medical marketing, experiential events and real-time ‘Brand Newsrooms’.
“We were impressed with the way the client teams at Good Relations are formed into real-time ‘Brand Newsrooms’,” said infirst Healthcare chief executive officer Manfred Scheske, former president of GSK’s European Consumer Healthcare business.
“Teams drawn from corporate, consumer, healthcare and digital backgrounds, headed by a senior client lead, sit together to plan and implement flows of brand news through all channels which will maximise the opportunities for our brands,” he said.
Good Relations is a multi-disciplined consultancy, providing creative communication solutions for consumer, b2b and corporate brands. The London-based company has a number of existing healthcare clients, including Oxford Fertility, Hammersmith Hospital and Intersystems.
Infirst Healthcare, part of drug discovery expert Seek’s portfolio, is a new consumer healthcare company working to improve well-established drugs with IP protected solutions for the OTC and primary care markets. It focuses on drugs which can be launched within 12 to 36 months.
