Matt Lowe has left Grünenthal, where he served as a senior marketing manager for its analgesic Palexia, to move agency-side.
He joins UK communications group Creston Health as head of digital and will oversee digital activities at Red Door Communications, Rock Medical Communications, Grapevine and Pan Advertising.
Reporting to the head of Creston Health Catherine Warne, Lowe will play a key role in developing digital health activities amongst the Creston Health companies.
“Having developed a number of successful digital projects, Matt is well versed in the restrictions and challenges that the industry has with online and offline digital tactics,” said Warne.
Lowe spent three years at Grünenthal and before that was at Sanofi, where he started as a GP/hospital sales representative and then moved into roles as a training manager and as a learning and development executive.
Over the past three years, Lowe has been focusing his marketing attention on traditional and innovative digital channels.
“With the restrictions on budgets, diminishing sales forces and the advent of digital as a serious marketing channel within the mix, my aim has been to educate myself and my teams on how to harness digital potential," he said.
