Health Unlimited’s specialist consultancy expands to the UK

And appoints Claire Hoffman as Director

Corkery Group, Health Unlimited’s public health and policy specialist consultancy, has expanded its footprint to the UK, and has a brought a new leader on board.

Claire Hoffman (pictured below), who has more than 20 years’ experience in global health communications, will head the expanded offering as its new Director for the UK and EMEA.

Hoffman has worked for a host of non-profits, multilaterals and UN agencies including WHO, UNFPA, UNAIDS, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UN Women, Save the Children and the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

Her new challenge however, will see her spearhead Corkery to advance the Health Unlimited’s communications work.

Karen O’Malley, President of Corkery Group Unlimited and Global Practice Chair for Public Health and Policy at Health Unlimited, said of the appointment: We are thrilled to announce the opening of our London operations and the appointment of Claire Hoffman as Director of UK and EMEA operations.

“Hoffman’s broad and dynamic experience in global health communications and advocacy sets us on course to better serve our many clients around the world and expand our capabilities.

“Hoffman will be embedded with our Health Unlimited colleagues and benefit from the full range of marketing services HU provides to clients. Health Unlimited will also draw on her unique expertise in issues, advocacy, and global health to benefit health and medical clients in other sectors.”

The announcement follows other recent senior appointments at Health Unlimited including Jason Galla-Barth as Practice Leader, Brand Promotion in the UK and Dan Burgess, Director of Digital Engagement in the US.

Corkery Group Unlimited was founded in 1998, and became part of the Health Unlimited group back in 2011.

The company has focused on issue-oriented health and has worked with both health organisations and corporations, helping build reputations and providing support among policymakers, the media and the public.

The group is one of two Health Unlimited consultancy teams, the other being Rock Unlimited, which specialises in medical communications.
