Healthcare at Home makes key appointments

Healthcare at Home, the provider of home healthcare, has appointed Nigel Brooksby as a senior strategic advisor and Graeme Duncan as director of strategy for its pharmaceutical services business

Healthcare at Home, the provider of home healthcare, has appointed Nigel Brooksby as a senior strategic advisor and Graeme Duncan as director of strategy for its pharmaceutical services business.

Brooksby has almost 40 years' experience in the life sciences industry. Most recently he was chairman and managing director of sanofi-aventis in the UK, where he was also a member of its European executive committee.

From 2008 to 2010 he was president of the UK's Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) and served as a member of the Confederation of British Industry's presidents committee. Brooksby holds several life sciences, academic and government positions at a senior board level, including representing the life sciences industry on the board of Cogent - the industry skills body for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, oil and gas, petroleum and polymer businesses. 

Duncan joined from software firm Caspian Learning where he was chief executive. He previously held the positions of head of marketing and commercial director of IVAX Pharmaceuticals UK. This role was preceded by a six-year career at GlaxoSmithKline and GlaxoWellcome, where he held a variety of sales and marketing roles.
