Healthcare Communications agency F/NE joins GLOBALHealthPR’s network

The South-African agency has a presence in over 40 other countries

GlobalHealthPRGlobalHealthPR has expanded its geographical reach by partnering with F/NE, a South-African based healthcare communications agency that also provides services in Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Founded in 2001, GLOBALHealthPR is an independent health and science communications agency partnership with a presence spanning over more than 40 countries, delivering healthcare communications expertise through its partner agencies.

With the addition of F/NE, the networking group adds a presence in South Africa, addressing increased client demand for deep insights across the ‘diverse’ markets in the region.

Mandi Fine, founder and CEO of F/NE, said: “F/NE is thrilled to add our name to GlobalHealthPR’s roster of best-in-market healthcare communications agencies as they continue to redefine the industry’s approach to building a collaborative global network focused on client needs.

“Our clients will now benefit from access to the top health communications consultancies internationally, in addition to our best-in-class capabilities in South Africa and across the continent.”

Although fewer than 50% of Africans have access to modern healthcare facilities, urban development, increased wealth and increased access to mobile phones and the internet are expected to improve this.

Tim Goddard, executive vice president of GlobalHealthPR, said: “Healthcare communications plays a critical role in South Africa and across the African continent, helping to increase health literacy and access to care in underserved communities and highlighting incredible innovation taking place in the academic and commercial sectors.

“Similar to the Latin America and Asia Pacific regions over the last decade, we anticipate a significant boom in strategic health communications needs in Africa and we are pleased to partner with F/NE as we continue to offer our clients access to the top healthcare communications agencies around the world.”
